Today the North Carolina Board of Education recognized Vandora Springs Elementary as a “Super Safe School”, according to a release issued by Wake County Public Schools.
It is one of tw0 in Wake County (the other being Reedy Creek Middle in Cary) to receive the designation. Schools applied for the designation last fall. This is the third straight year Vandora Springs has been recognized with the distinction. Troy Peuler is the school’s principal. Forty schools received the designation statewide.
