WCPSS leaders consider cutting support program at schools including Garner High

Because of proposed state budget cuts, Wake County Public School System is looking to reduce expenses. One possibility they are considering is cutting a program that helps students prepare  to enter the job market.

Garner Magnet High School is one of ten Wake schools that have the program in place, according to published reports.

At least one Garner Town Council member has voiced interest in providing some town funds to keep the program afloat if it is cut.
